I was drawn into photography to capture digital images for composite children’s illustration and textures for ClockPrints. Photography has become a passion in itself for me. I am an artist with PhotoShop as my toolbox. My extensive experience with PhotoShop covers pre-press, color correction, illustration, design, and fine art. I use PhotoShop to enhance my images for artisic appeal. While most images have had no more than an expertly placed curve to perfect color or contrast, there are a few images that may qualify more as digital art than photography.

I must admit that I have not created any of the images for PhotoBotanicals. These images are the handiwork of the ulitmate creator. A gift as well is the timing that placed my viewfinder in exactly the right place when the rhino's subtle silloette crossed the boulder, the morning sunlight lit up a butterfly's wing, the spring rains filled our small creek with sprays of mist or a rainbow settled in front of a mountain.......
I hope you enjoy sharing my walks in the woods. Come back again, I'm sure there will be more. My assistant reminds me daily that we need to appreciate our father's world by walking around in it and smelling all the turtles.
